Marine Science
The world of marine science is a fascinating and diverse field of study. Southern California offers a magnificent natural classroom consisting of tide pools, wetlands and vast inland bays containing an abundance of exciting sea creatures. Marine science instructors, with extensive knowledge in this field of study, will lead this adventurous and educational odyssey.
MARINE SCIENCE
This course will include hands-on experience with marine life including eco-tours to tide pools, snorkeling, and tours at Sea World and Birch Aquarium. Campers will explore issues ranging from undersea life to physical oceanography where they will discover the forces that create waves, come face-to-face with some of San Diego‘s underwater residents and learn how to protect our fragile marine habitat. Join us for this unique opportunity to learn about the ocean environment.
